This e-News will update our customers as to the current state of Thoroughbred Software and highlight some of the recent product developments, accomplishments and services we now offer. Thoroughbred is doing well and we would like to thank our customers for their business in these challenging economic times.

We assumed the direct sales and marketing activities with our international customers. Mr. Barry Pestell, located in London, UK, is our primary contact for the international market, bringing his many years of Thoroughbred Product experience and knowledge to our international customers.

We have had a very successful launch of our 8.7 development products including the Thoroughbred Environment™, OPENworkshop® and T-WEB™. Version 8.7 supports all current operating systems including UNIX, Linux and Windows (including Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008). Added to the product mix is our +XML DataServer combinations for enhanced web product development.

Our Solution-IV® users were upgraded to Solution-IV 8.7 over the past year and are very pleased with the upgrade. Additional features such as Print to Excel, Report-IV™ to PDF and a series of other enhancements featured on our website were also well received.

Thoroughbred formed a Strategic Alliance with AlaQuest International, a longtime Thoroughbred developer, to market their AS3 School Administration Software for trade and vocational schools (post-secondary schools), see www.AlaQuest.com.

Thoroughbred is also working with a number of our developers on special projects to enhance their legacy software including:

• Simultaneous write to Thoroughbred and 3rd party database products including MS SQL Server, Oracle and MySQL


• VIP Enhancement projects


• Special Disaster Recovery projects


• T-WEB and XML Web development projects


• Hosting and Service projects


• 3rd party software integration projects
