In keeping our products current and viable with new Operating Systems and Hardware, please find this notice of the End of Activation Support for Thoroughbred Version 8.7.0 products. We trust your Thoroughbred Software products have served you well over the years. As new computer technology emerges we re-engineer and update our products to keep up and be compatible with current industry requirements. Thoroughbred continues to provide you with the ability to select the hardware and operating system platform of your choice for your system. You can use your 8.7.0 Version as long as you like. However, you will need to purchase current product should your system go down or a replacement is needed. Please note: There is a risk of using older versions with new operating systems. These configurations are not tested or supported and, if there is a problem, the remedy is to upgrade to a currently supported version of the Thoroughbred Environment. There are Operating System incompatibilities with pre-8.7.1 Thoroughbred Versions run on newer operating Systems including Windows Vista, Windows 7, 8, 10, Server 2008 and 2012, new Linux kernels and new 64-bit systems. Thoroughbred 8.8.1 Products will allow you to accomplish trouble free upgrades that support the latest hardware and software products and your current applications and data. Many Thoroughbred users have taken advantage of our Software Maintenance program. It guarantees a 90% trade-in for upgrades to new Thoroughbred Versions, reduced Services costs and more. It is something you should consider to protect the investment you have in your software. The lifecycle begins when a product is released and ends when it's no longer supported or produced.
